Judiciary warns of phishing email with fake summons

10 October 2026 · Source: info.gov.hk

The Judiciary has warned the public about a phishing email sent from an address linked to soong.wing@biznetvigator.com. The message falsely claimed to come from the Registrar of the District Court and included a summons that was not issued by the Judiciary. The matter has been reported to the Police. This kind of impersonation can trick staff into opening harmful attachments or acting on false legal requests, which can lead to fraud, data loss, or security breaches. A service like Sender Registry helps businesses spot suspicious senders, verify whether an email source is trustworthy, and reduce the risk of falling for fake notices or impersonation attempts.

How Sender Registry helps

Impersonation Radar watches certificate logs for lookalike domains the moment they are registered, so a fake is caught before it is ever used against you.
