Fake Claude Max giveaway targets Google logins

23 September 2026 · Source: cnet.com

Security researchers have identified a phishing site that pretends to offer free access to Anthropic’s Claude Max service. The page uses Anthropic branding and a fake giveaway message to push visitors to a Google sign in screen that is designed to capture account credentials. For businesses, this kind of attack can expose email, documents, and other connected services if an employee enters their Google login details. Sender Registry helps companies spot suspicious sign in pages and impersonation attempts before staff hand over access to company accounts.

How Sender Registry helps

Impersonation Radar watches certificate logs for lookalike domains the moment they are registered, so a fake is caught before it is ever used against you.
